Abstract:【Objective】To explore the effect of path management on the psychological state of patients underwent microsurgical operation of petroclival meningioma.【Methods】 One hundred and two patients underwent microsurgical operation of petroclival meningioma in our hospital from April 2013 to March 2016 were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group with 51 cases in each. The control group was treated with the routine nursing mode for nursing, while the observation group received the clinical path nursing. The self rating Depression Scale (SDS) and self rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) were used for psychological state evaluation in the two groups of patients at the time of admission and before discharge, and the average length of hospital stay and patients' satisfaction with nursing work in the two groups were compared.【Results 】The SDS, SAS score of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group, and the hospital stay was also less than that of the control group, but the satisfaction was higher than the control group, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05).【Conclusions】 The application of clinical path nursing management for patients with petroclival meningioma undergoing microsurgical treatment can relieve the adverse psychological reaction , shorten the hospitalization time, improve patient satisfaction, it is worth promoting in clinical practice.
