Abstract:【Objective】To explore the predictive value of Color Doppler Ultrasound (CDU) detection of pregnant uterine and arterial hemodynamic changes in pregnant women with preeclampsia.【Methods】A total of 90 cases of women were selected for this study. All of these women had their regular prenatal exams and delivery in our hospital. The patients were divided into three groups based on their pre-delivery characteristics: the hypertension group, preeclampsia group, and control group. All pregnant women were given the color Doppler ultrasonography during 22 ~ 24 weeks of gestation. The S/D(systolic/diastolic), PI(pulse index), RI(resistance index), and V-wave of the early diastole of the uterine arteries were compared between the three groups.【Results】The S/D, PI, and RI of patients in the hypertension and preeclampsia groups were much higher than in patients of the control group (P<0.05 ). No subjects in the control group, with the normal pregnant women, was found to have the V-wave form in either side of the uterine artery. There were 18 subjects in the hypertension group who were found to have the V-wave characteristics in both sides of the uterine artery, 12 were found with the V-wave on only the left side, and 2 were found to have the V-wave only on the right side. In the preeclampsia group, 21 women had the V-wave notch in both sides, 7 only on the left, and 2 only on the right.【Conclusion】The use of color Doppler ultrasound in testing uterine artery hemodynamics of pregnant women can lead to an early prediction of preeclampsia and provide valuable evidence for its early diagnosis and treatment.
