Abstract:【Objective】To explore the effects of clinical pharmacy service mode in children with asthma. 【Methods】84 cases of children with asthma were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group by the random number table method, with 42 cases in each group. Patients in the control group received with routine treatment, while patients in the observation group were guided by the clinical pharmacy service mode. The clinical curative effect, adverse drug reactions, medication compliance, incidence of asthma attack after intervention, treatment status, and pulmonary function indexes before and after intervention were compared between the two groups. 【Results】After 6 months of intervention, the effective rate and rate of good compliance in the observation group (92.9%, 73.8%) were significantly higher than those of the control group (69.0%, 31.0%), (P<0.05). The incidence rate of adverse drug reactions in the observation group (7.1%) was significantly lower than that of the control group (23.8%), (P<0.05). The differences in times of asthma attack [(1.0±0.8) vs (2.5± 1.6) times], times of emergency [(1.0±0.7) vs (2.4±1.5) times], and hospitalization times [(0.2±0.2) vs (1.0±0.6) times] between the two group in 6 months were statistically significant (P<0.05). After 6 months of intervention, FEV1% and PEF% in the observation group [(82.6±4.4), (81.5±5.5)] were significantly higher than those in the control group [(78.7±5.6), (76.3±5.3)], (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】The implementation of clinical pharmacy service mode can significantly improve medication compliance, reduce the incidence of adverse drug reactions, promote good control of asthma and improve the pulmonary function.
