Abstract：Objective] To explore clinical efficacy of nicorandil combined with isosorbide mononitrate for the treatment of unstable angina(UAP) .[Methods] A total of 76 patients with UAP in our hospital were ran‐domly divided into observation group( n =38) and control group( n =38) .All patients received conventional therapy including oral aspirin ,metoprolol tartrate tablets ,perindopril ,atorvastatin calcium tablets and so on . Moreover ,the control group received isosorbide mononitrate ,while the observation group was given nicorandil and isosorbide mononitrate based on the conventional therapy .Clinical efficacy ,dynamic electrocardiogram (ECG) changes and incidence of adverse reactions of 2 groups were observed .[Results] Total effective rate of observation group and control group was 94 .7% and 73 .7% respectively ,and there was significant difference between two groups( P <0 .05) .The improvement of ECG in observation group was higher than that in con‐trol group ,and there was significant difference( P>0 .05) .During the treatment ,light headache was found in 1 patient of observation group(2 .6% ) and 3 patients of control group(7 .89% ) ,but there was no significant difference( P > 0 .05) .During the treatment ,no obvious hypoglycemia and liver damage was found in two groups .[Conclusion]Nicorandil combined with isosorbide mononitrate for the treatment of patients with UAP is able to improve clinical symptoms and ECG ,and has good short‐term efficacy and safety .
