Abstract:Objective]To explore the efficacy of thalidomide combined with epirubicin in the treatment of transplanted H22 hepatoma in mice .[Methods]H22 tumor cells were cultured ,and 60 mice with transplanted H22 hepatoma were established .According to the different treatment methods ,mouse models were divided in‐to group A( n=20) ,group B( n=20) and group C( n=20) .The mice of group A received thalidomide com‐bined with epirubicin therapy .The mice of group B only received epirubicin treatment .The mice of group C received normal saline .Tumor diameter at d7 ,d14 ,d21 and d30 was measured .Death rate of mice in 3 groups after 12 months was calculated .[Results] The tumor diameter of group A at d14 was (11 .37+ 1 .03)mm , which was significantly lower than that of B group[(19 .32 ± 1 .12)mm]( t = -28 .62 ,P =0 .000) and group C[(28 .39+1 .19)mm]( t = -59 .23 ,P =0 .000) .The tumor diameter of group A at d30 was (9 .23 ± 1 .08) mm ,which was significantly lower than that of group B[(12 .23 ± 1 .04)mm]( t = -3 .22 ,P =0 .002) and group C[(29 .29 ± 1 .03)mm]( t = -67 .38 ,P =0 .000) .The death rat of group A was 10% (2/20) ,which was significantly lower than that of group B(45% ,9/20) and group C(80% ,16/20) .[Conclusion] Thalido‐mide combined with epirubicin for the treatment of H22 transplanted hepatoma in mice has satisfactory effect .
