Abstract：To explore clinical features ,treatment and prognosis of dermatofibrosarcoma protu-berans(DFSP) .[Methods]Clinical data of 1 patient with rare giant temporal facial recurrent DFSP were ana-lyzed retrospectively and discussed combining with the literature .[Results]The patient underwent the second operation with wide excision ,local tissue flap repair and free skin graft .The patient received radiotherapy of temporal and facial lesions .No recurrence was found during 1 year of follow up .[Conclusion]DDSP is easy to recur after local excision .Wide excision is the key to reduce the recurrence rate .Clinicians should raise the awareness of the disease ,take early correct diagnosis ,regular and complete initial treatment and the combined therapy .
