Abstract:[Obj ective]To explore the correlation of cervical infection with in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer (IVF-ET)and natural pregnancy threatened abortion.[Methods]A total of 3 7 patients with threatened abortion after IVF-ET in our hospital from July 2012 to July 2013 were chosen as the study group.Concurrent 40 patients with natural pregnancy threatened abortion were randomly chosen as the control group.Cervical secretion culture (anaerobic bacteria, mycoplasma and bacteria)was performed in all patients.Cervical infection was compared be-tween them.[Results]The positive rate of cervical secretions in the study group and control group was 67.57%and 27.50% respectively, and that in the study group was obviously higher than that in control group, and there was significant difference in the positive rate between two groups(χ2=17.839,P<0.05).There was significant difference in the level of TNF-αbetween patients with positive and negative cervical infection of two groups(t=23.678,27.340,P<0.05).But there was no significant difference between two groups(t=1.241,1.352,P>0.05).[Conclusion]There is correlation between patients with threatened abortion and cervical infection, but pa-tients with IVF-ET is more easy to be infected.Routine cervical secretion culture in the treatment of threatened a-bortion should be taken so as to increase the success rate of pregnancy.
