Abstract:[Obj ective]To observe the effect of the responsibility holistic nursing care on the prevention of postpartum depression in order to provide the reference for reducing the incidence of postpartum depression.[Methods]Clinical data of 100 pregnant women and parturients with postpartum depression tendency in obstetric department of our hospital from 2007 to 2019 were retrospectively collected as control group(traditional functional nursing mode).Clinical data of 100 pregnant women and parturients with postpartum depression tendency from Aug.2011 to Feb.2013 were collected as observation group(responsibility holistic nursing care).Self-rating anxi-ety scale(SAS)and self-rating depression scale(SDS)were used for the assessment of patients.The incidence of postpartum anxiety and depression in two groups was observed and compared.The data was analyzed by using SPSS13.0 analysis.[Results]There was no significant difference in prepartum SAS and SDS on admission be-tween observation group and control group(P>0.05).There was significant difference in postpartum SAS and SDS at discharging from the hospital between two groups(P <0.05).The incidence of postpartum anxiety and depression in observation group was lower than that in control group,and there was significant difference(P <0.05).[Conclusion]The responsibility holistic nursing care can effectively reduce the incidence of postpartum anx-iety and depression and alleviate the degree of depression,so it has certain clinical significance.
