Abstract:[Objective]To explore the efficacy of 308nm excimer laser vs.narrow-spectrum midrange ultra-violet beam(NB-UVB)for the treatment of vitiligo.[Methods]Totally 63 patients(68 patches of skin lesion) with limited vitiligo were selected.Among them,36 patches were treated with 308nm excimer laser(laser group)and 32 patches were treated with NB-UVB twice a week for continuous 30 times(NB-UVB group). The effective rate, repigmentation rate and adverse reaction were compared between two groups.[Results]The repigmentation rate and total effective rate in laser group were 88.89% and 66.67% respectively, which were markedly higher than those in NB-UVB group(68.75% and 40.63%,respectively),and there was significant difference(P<0.05).No severe adverse reaction was found in two groups during the therapy.[Conclusion]The 308nm excimer laser for the treatment of vitiligo has good efficacy and advantages such as rapid effect and high safety.
