Abstract：[Obj ective]To explore clinical risk factors of death in children with severe pneumonia.[Meth-ods]A total of 96 children with severe pneumonia were enrolled in the study.Among them,48 children died. Clinical risk factors of death in children with severe pneumonia were analyzed retrospectively.[Results]Univa-riate analysis showed that there were significant differences in age,hypoxemia,dehydration,abdominal disten-sion and hypotension between death group and non-death group(P <0.05).Multiple analysis showed that age,hypoxemia,dehydration,systolic hypotension were correlated with death of children with severe pneumo-nia(P<0.05).[Conclusion]Early identification of clinical changes of children with severe pneumonia can pre-vent the death.
