Abstract：[Objective]To explore the diagnosis ,treatment experience and efficacy of intracranial arteriove-nous malformation(AVM ) with rupture hemorrhage .[Methods]Clinical data and efficacy of 48 patients with rupture hemorrhage of AVM treated by different therapy methods in acute phase from our hospital between May 1999 to Jan .2013 were analyzed retrospectively .[Results]Of 48 patients ,23 patients underwent one stage hematoma removal and AVM microsurgical resection ,and 12 patients underwent one stage hematoma re-moval and two stage AVM microsurgical resection ,and 8 patients underwent non-surgical therapy and AVM malformation mass resection ,and 2 patients underwent non-surgical therapy(or simple hematoma removal) andγ-knife therapy ,and 3 patients underwent simple hematoma removal .Two patients died .Severe disability oc-curred in 5 patients .Compared with before operation ,nerve function of 41 patients was improved at different degree .[Conclusion] Surgery strategies and microsurgical skills of AVM rupture hemorrhage should be grasped .One stage hematoma removal combined with lesion resection can obtain better prognosis .
